TransMilenio and the city
The busway stations and corridors are well covered, and the route apps are reliable — you will need them, since the express and local services stop at different stations.
La Candelaria and Chapinero
Good 4G/5G across the historic centre and the northern neighbourhoods. The colonial buildings in La Candelaria weaken indoor signal on lower floors.
Monserrate
The funicular and cable car up to the shrine are covered, and the summit at 3,150 metres has some of the best signal in the city along with the view.
Zipaquirá and the salt cathedral
The road and town north are covered. The salt cathedral itself is 180 metres underground in a working mine and has no mobile signal at all — expect a genuine hour offline.
