What is an eSIM?
An eSIM (embedded SIM) is a digital SIM card built into your device. It lets you activate a mobile data plan instantly — no physical card, no waiting.
Which devices are compatible?
iPhones XS and later, Google Pixel 3+, Samsung Galaxy S20+, and most flagship Android phones. Check Settings → Cellular → Add eSIM on your device.
How do I install the eSIM?
After purchase you receive a QR code. Scan it with your camera app — your phone guides you through activation in under a minute.
Can I use an eSIM alongside my regular SIM?
Yes. Most phones support dual SIM — keep your home number for calls while using the eSIM for local data.
Are Siima's plans throttled or speed-capped?
Fixed-GB plans: no. You get the local network's full 4G/5G speed for the entire allowance you bought — no fair-use throttle and no daily cap. When the data runs out the plan simply stops (buy another anytime); it's never silently slowed. Unlimited plans work differently — 1 GB per day at full speed, then 512 kbps until the daily reset. See the next question.
What does an "unlimited" plan mean on Siima?
Our Unlimited plans give you 1 GB of full-speed 4G/5G data every 24 hours. Once that daily 1 GB is used, your speed drops to 512 kbps for the rest of that 24-hour window — still fine for messaging, maps, email and light browsing, but not video streaming or video calls — then resets to full speed 24 hours after you first activated the eSIM, and every 24 hours after that for the whole duration of the plan. There's no total data cap and your eSIM is never disconnected; only the speed changes once you pass 1 GB in a day. Want every gigabyte at full speed with no daily limit? Choose a fixed-GB plan.
Is Siima legit?
Yes. Siima is a working eSIM marketplace: the eSIM (QR code + activation link) is emailed within about a minute of payment, checkout runs on Stripe so we never see your card, no account is required, and every purchase is backed by support and a 30-day refund if the eSIM hasn't been installed. Plans run on established local network operators.
Do plans auto-renew?
No. Every plan is a one-time purchase. You decide when to buy more.
Is my payment secure?
Payments are handled by Stripe (PCI-DSS Level 1). We never see or store your card details.
