Unlimited plans never run out and your eSIM is never disconnected, but every one has a fair-use limit: a set amount of full-speed data, after which the speed is reduced. The amounts differ between plans — most give a daily full-speed allowance that refills every 24 hours from when you first activate the eSIM, while Premium plans give a larger allowance for the whole plan instead. Each plan states its own allowance and the speed after it before you buy. At the reduced speed, messaging, maps, email and light browsing still work; video streaming and video calls may not. If you want every gigabyte at full speed, choose a fixed-GB plan.

Old Town and the funicular
Good coverage across Abanotubani, Rustaveli and Sololaki, and on the cable car up to Narikala and the funicular to Mtatsminda.
The Georgian Military Highway
The three-hour road north to Kazbegi holds signal for most of the route, including the Gudauri ski area and Stepantsminda. The Gergeti Trinity trail above the village drops out.
Kakheti wine country
Sighnaghi, Telavi and the winery routes east are well covered — useful, since the small family marani are hard to find without live directions.
Svaneti and the high Caucasus
Mestia and Ushguli have coverage in the villages; the trekking routes between them and the higher valleys have long gaps.
How much data you need
A week in Tbilisi is 3–4 GB, more if you are working remotely — the city is a nomad hub and you will lean on the connection. Mountain trips add navigation load.
