Unlimited plans never run out and your eSIM is never disconnected, but every one has a fair-use limit: a set amount of full-speed data, after which the speed is reduced. The amounts differ between plans — most give a daily full-speed allowance that refills every 24 hours from when you first activate the eSIM, while Premium plans give a larger allowance for the whole plan instead. Each plan states its own allowance and the speed after it before you buy. At the reduced speed, messaging, maps, email and light browsing still work; video streaming and video calls may not. If you want every gigabyte at full speed, choose a fixed-GB plan.

Coverage around Dublin
Luas, DART and buses
All above ground and fully covered. The DART along the coast to Howth and Bray is one of the more scenic commuter rides in Europe and never loses signal.
City centre and Temple Bar
Solid 5G across the centre. Georgian buildings with thick walls weaken indoor signal, and the busiest Temple Bar evenings can congest local cells.
Phoenix Park and the coast
Phoenix Park — one of Europe's largest walled city parks — is covered throughout, as are the coastal paths at Howth and Killiney.
Glendalough and the west
The Wicklow Mountains hold signal on the main roads but drop in the valleys around Glendalough. The long drive west to Galway and the Cliffs of Moher has genuine dead stretches through the midlands and the Burren.
