The three-hour drive south holds signal for nearly the whole route. The King's Highway, the slower scenic alternative, has more gaps through the Wadi Mujib canyon.

Wadi Musa town and the visitor centre are well covered, and there is signal at the Treasury. The deeper trails — the Monastery climb, the back route through Little Petra — drop out in the canyons.

Wadi Rum and the Dead Sea

Will I have signal at Petra and Wadi Rum?
At Petra, mostly yes — Wadi Musa, the entrance and the main Siq route have coverage, with drops on the higher trails. Wadi Rum is largely offline once you leave the village, so download your maps and camp details in advance.
