Unlimited plans never run out and your eSIM is never disconnected, but every one has a fair-use limit: a set amount of full-speed data, after which the speed is reduced. The amounts differ between plans — most give a daily full-speed allowance that refills every 24 hours from when you first activate the eSIM, while Premium plans give a larger allowance for the whole plan instead. Each plan states its own allowance and the speed after it before you buy. At the reduced speed, messaging, maps, email and light browsing still work; video streaming and video calls may not. If you want every gigabyte at full speed, choose a fixed-GB plan.

Rabat tram and city centre
The two tram lines run above ground with continuous signal, and coverage across Agdal, Hassan and the Ville Nouvelle is strong.
Kasbah of the Udayas and the medina
Covered throughout. The kasbah's blue-and-white lanes are narrow enough to weaken signal briefly between walls, but never for long.
Chellah and Hassan Tower
Both open-air sites have reliable coverage, including the Chellah necropolis gardens below the walls.
The Al Boraq corridor and beyond
Tangier, Casablanca and the coastal rail line hold signal throughout. Coverage into the Atlas passes and the Sahara routes thins considerably — worth knowing before a desert leg.
How much data you need
Rabat itself is light: 1–2 GB for a couple of days. A full Morocco loop through Marrakech, Fes and the desert is closer to 5 GB over ten days.
