Frequently asked questions

Will my Peru eSIM work at Machu Picchu?
Partly. Aguas Calientes and the site entrance have coverage; inside the ruins it is inconsistent and drops in places. Your entry ticket and train times are worth downloading rather than loading live.
Can I use the same eSIM in Lima, Cusco and the Amazon?
Yes for Lima and Cusco — Siima plans for Peru are country-wide. Amazon lodges around Iquitos and Puerto Maldonado are a different matter: most have no mobile coverage at all, only lodge Wi-Fi at set hours.
How do I set up an eSIM before arriving in Lima?
