Can I pay for things in Stockholm with a travel eSIM?
You can use your normal contactless card or phone wallet, which is what most visitors do — Sweden is close to cashless and cards are accepted almost everywhere. Swish, the domestic payment app, requires a Swedish bank account and personal number, so it is not an option for travellers.
Will my eSIM work in Swedish Lapland and on the night train?
On the same country plan, yes. Kiruna, Abisko and the main routes have coverage, and the night train holds signal for much of the journey. The fells and the hiking trails away from the road have long gaps.
How do I set up an eSIM before arriving in Stockholm?
