Ljubljana eSIM
100 Slovenia plans · from $2.35
Ljubljana is a capital you can cross in twenty minutes on foot, with a car-free centre built along a river and a castle on the hill above it. Slovenia is small enough that Lake Bled, the Adriatic and the Julian Alps are all day trips — and a travel eSIM covers every one of them on a single country plan.
Landing at Jože Pučnik (LJU)
The airport is 25km north with no rail link — a shuttle bus takes about 45 minutes, and pre-booked transfers or a taxi are the faster option. Many visitors arrive instead by bus from Venice, Zagreb or Vienna.

Which networks you'll be on in Ljubljana
Siima eSIMs for Slovenia ride A1 Slovenija and Telekom Slovenije. Coverage is strong nationally — the country is compact and the main valleys and motorways are comprehensively served.
Coverage around Ljubljana
Old town and the castle
Strong signal across the car-free centre, the Triple Bridge and the riverbank cafés, and on the funicular up to the castle.
Lake Bled and Bohinj
Both are 45–90 minutes away and well covered, including the boat to the island and the walk around the shore. Bohinj's far end thins slightly.
Postojna and Škocjan caves
The towns and car parks are covered; the cave systems themselves are deep underground with no signal at all. Postojna's train ride into the caverns is an offline hour.
Triglav and the Vršič Pass
The alpine roads hold signal at the passes and in the valley villages. Trails above the tree line and the Triglav approach routes lose it.
How much data you need
Slovenia is a compact, high-mobility trip: 2–4 GB covers a week of driving between Ljubljana, Bled and the coast.
