Unlimited plans never run out and your eSIM is never disconnected, but every one has a fair-use limit: a set amount of full-speed data, after which the speed is reduced. The amounts differ between plans — most give a daily full-speed allowance that refills every 24 hours from when you first activate the eSIM, while Premium plans give a larger allowance for the whole plan instead. Each plan states its own allowance and the speed after it before you buy. At the reduced speed, messaging, maps, email and light browsing still work; video streaming and video calls may not. Old town and the castle

Both are 45–90 minutes away and well covered, including the boat to the island and the walk around the shore. Bohinj's far end thins slightly.
Postojna and Škocjan caves
The towns and car parks are covered; the cave systems themselves are deep underground with no signal at all. Postojna's train ride into the caverns is an offline hour.
Triglav and the Vršič Pass
The alpine roads hold signal at the passes and in the valley villages. Trails above the tree line and the Triglav approach routes lose it.
