Unlimited plans never run out and your eSIM is never disconnected, but every one has a fair-use limit: a set amount of full-speed data, after which the speed is reduced. The amounts differ between plans — most give a daily full-speed allowance that refills every 24 hours from when you first activate the eSIM, while Premium plans give a larger allowance for the whole plan instead. Each plan states its own allowance and the speed after it before you buy. At the reduced speed, messaging, maps, email and light browsing still work; video streaming and video calls may not. If you want every gigabyte at full speed, choose a fixed-GB plan.

Coverage around Dodoma
Dodoma and the central corridor
Good coverage across the government district, the university area and the highway through town. This is a quiet, spread-out city.
Serengeti and Ngorongoro
Lodges and gate areas generally have signal; the game-drive plains and the crater floor drop out for long stretches. This is normal and expected on safari.
Kilimanjaro
Coverage on the mountain is better than most people assume — several routes hold signal well up the trail, thinning near the summit. Guides carry radios regardless.
Zanzibar
Same country plan. Stone Town and the resort strips are well covered; the boat trips and the far east coast are patchier.
